We are the Black Rock Fish and Game Club of Cornwall, Inc We offer a multitude of outdoor activities for the sportsman from our 200 yard rifle range to our 4 50 yard pistol ranges to our trap and 5 stand fields. We also have an outdoor 50 yard archery range with targets and a 20 yard indoor archery range as well as a 1.2 mile 3-D archery course. We have thousands of acres to hunt on, including both club owned lands and lands that we have hunting privileges on.

The purpose of our club is the conservation, propagation and protection of fish and game. The stocking of streams, lakes, waters and land under the jurisdiction of the club. To protect and enhance the hunting and fishing possibilities of the members and of the general public. To further the cause of conservation and good sportsmanship, hunter safety, archery, shooting and affiliated sports. To abide by the laws of the State of New York, the Federal Government, the rules and regulations of the N.Y. State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the By-Laws and Rules of this club. To ever be watchful in the scrutinization of new laws and legislation which would adversely affect the sportsmen, or the right to keep and bear arms, and to encourage legislation which curtail the criminal element in the commission of a crime with a firearm.

The club bar is considered the heart of Black Rock, open six days per week and staffed with hired bartenders. It’s a place where members can come down watch a sporting event on TV and socialize with each other while enjoying the hospitality of our full service bar.

We offer a full range of beverages from beer, wine and liquor to coffee and soda. Additionally, you can purchase snacks and hot Hor devours. All of our drinks are sold at members only pricing and you would be hard pressed to find another bar that can match our prices. We also offer a pool table free of charge and there is usually a nice fire going in our fireplace during cold winter nights.

On summer days one can relax out on the bar’s patio overlooking the Woodbury Creek and Black Rock athletic field. The bar welcomes the entire family including children as long as they remain in attendance by an adult. There are separate men and ladies restrooms and the bar is fully climate controlled. The bar is also the place where our members can go for club information, purchase club event tickets, raffles, renew dues, order club merchandise and sign out keys to club properties.

Adjacent to the bar is the club’s meeting room and kitchen. The meeting room, when not in use for official club business, can be rented by members who would like to hold private parties or events. Rental of the meeting room includes usage of the kitchen. Rentals are managed by the bar and fees are very reasonable. All together the Black Rock Bar is another great membership benefit not found in many other fish and game clubs with dues as reasonable as ours.
